Each doll is stitched by hand by women who have fled from Afghanistan to India. The work allows them to earn a living and form a new community. 70 women who up cycle fabric scraps often generated by the fashion industry, creating these lovely dolls. These are Frida and Mini Frida, a happy mother and daughter, wearing traditional dresses.
