After gentle pressing the wine was matured in a combination of 25% new and seasoned French hogsheads for 9 months

The wine is ample on the palate

At the time of purchase however it had been reduced to just five hectares of depleted vineyard

Figs, marzipan and walnuts with just a hint of heat on the very long finish. Otherwise, really tasty and sumptuous Tawny.
